Security cameras have been a source of protection for years. From your home to the workspace, security cameras have been your extra pair of eyes 24/7 to make sure you, your family, and your workers are all in a safe space. Wireless cameras are becoming more and more popular and for good reason. These closed-circuit television cameras transmit video and audio signals to a wireless receiver through a radio band (hence the name, "wireless"). However, because of the increasingly popular technology, there are now so many wireless cameras to choose from. Here are three wireless security cameras to consider when looking for your next safety installment.
Eufy Solo IndoorCam C24
The Eufy Solo IndoorCam C24 is a cost-efficient way to get quality security. Featuring 2k video resolution, it has a strong 125-degree field of view and your data security is well protected. You can also obtain free video storage with a microSD card (there's a slot on the camera) or a personal web server. The slot also can be for personal detection, pet detection, and crying detection (which is helpful if you're using it as a baby monitor). Since this camera does contain smart features, the camera also works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit. There is also optional 24/7 continuous recording, and voice and app control.
If you want a better storage option, Eufy also has an option for you to store your videos in the cloud using its own subscription storage plans. For example, for $3 a month, you can get 30 days of cloud storage for one camera. Or, you can do 30 days for up to 10 cameras for $10 per month.
Arlo Essential Wireless Security Camera VMC2030-100NAS
Although the Arlo Essential Wireless Security Camera VMC2030-100NAS does not have free storage, the camera does contain many resourceful and potentially important features, including a built-in spotlight that allows for color night vision, a rechargeable battery, a siren, and voice and app control through Amazon Alexa, Apple, and Google Home. It also connects directly to WiFi. Furthermore, this Arlo camera features a 1080p video resolution with a 130-degree field of view. This camera can also be used indoors or outdoors, making it very versatile.
Since there's no free storage, you can opt-in for an Arlo Secure subscription. You can get 30 days of cloud video storage for motion-triggered video clips as well as monitoring zones. Also included would be person, package, vehicle, and animal detection. Plus, emergency response buttons in the Arlo app. These emergency buttons will allow you to request police, fire, or medical services with just a tap.
Lorex 2K Pan-Tilt WiFi W462AQC-E
Given that it's in the name, the Lorex 2K Pan-Tilt WiFi W462AQC-E has the motorized pan-and-tilt feature which allows you to remotely move the camera to change its view, giving up to about a 110-degree field of view. This is great for any large room, or if you have an open floor plan. This Lorex camera has great 2K video quality and can detect a person in their view. It also contains monitoring zones and voice and app control through Amazon Alexa and Google Home. To make it more enticing, you'll be getting free storage for your videos thanks to the included 16-gigabyte microSD card with your purchase.
